Everyone should have access to clean drinking water. Our Safe Drinking Water Initiative, builds wells in rural Southern Africa, where many walk up to seven hours a day to a safe water source, and SiGH is building partnerships with U.S. Native American Tribes. Nearly half of all households on Tribal Lands have no access to running water.
Your support is greatly needed for these efforts.
Our supports end-of-life care and health aid training. We
continue to support Albergue Las Memorias, in Tijuana, caring for adults and children with advanced stages HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis, by providing quality care, and human warmth, where few options exist. We also support Tanzanian Clinics with training to dispense pain medication to terminally ill patients.
Together, we can create real change in the lives of many! Please donate today.
NO ONE'S ADDRESSING THIS ONE MAJOR PROBLEM
Major global health organizations only place a bandage by providing medical services to impoverished countries, whereas we want to attack the root of the problem by training medical specialists in LMICs so they can become self reliant.
3-10 Doctors Per 100,000 people
There can range from 3-10 Doctors per 100,000 people in LMICs, and even less specialists
1+ Hour Walk to Hospitals
In LMICs, like Mozambique, more than 50% of the population have little access to hospitals
50% Population Have No Access to Medicine
In countries like Mozambique, 50% of the population is too poor to have any access to medicine.
